OH MY SQUASH!

Spaghetti is my favorite meal - is it yours too?! IF so or if you even like it a little and make it often because it is budget friendly great news! The spaghetti squash that I'm sure you have heard about is delicious and so quick!!

I have been hearing about it for a while and finally, down on the strip district picked one up feeling spunky and exploratory in this new year. Thank god! This stuff is so tasty! Sweet, a little more crunch, and it just taste healthier. 

SO AFTER YOU go and buy one from your local market=) ( Local markets support your community, a much funner shopping experience, and way healthier for you)!

THIS IS WHAT YOU DO WITH IT:

  • stab 8-10 holes in it ( to relieve the steam )

  • put it in a microwave safe dish and microwave approx. six mins per pound. (HALF WAY FLIP YOUR SQUASH)

  • take out when your squash is soft and maybe even caved in

  • cut that little yellow thing down the middle LENGTH WISE 

  • scrap out all the seeds using a large kitchen fork ( Its okay I totally missed like eight this first try, thank god my boyfriend just ate them )

  • once all seeds are gone then scrap the insides out into a bowl and bam! There is your spaghetti squash! ADD your favorite sauce, olive oil and parm cheese with some seasoning or whatever your heart desires! Your making a good choice -go you!

It really only took me about 10 minutes for this process after the microwave//with the microwave =25
