HUMP DAY: SHOPPING BREAKDOWN!

Hello! A little good morning from me at my vanity with my shopping goodies this AM! Here's a little breakdown of what was bought and where to save your $$ and where to spend them in regards to beauty items<3

Don't we all love a little trip to Target even though it leads to spending too much money:0! I wanted to give ya'll an extra posts this week cause my shopping trip was successful and it made me realize something: sometimes we want to splurge on expensive items- but we don't have to splurge on all items needed in our routine. SO I want to breakdown on what I bought & where you should save your $$ and were you should not feel guilty about splurging! SO look below to find out:

Here's what I bought!

PEACE. LOVE . SHOP

SPLURGE: ( splurge on the foundation pieces like...)

  • skin care ( moisturizer, serums, anti aging creams etc. )
  • make up brushes ( eco tools is not a major splurge - butthey work great enough for me! - the real splurge is HD make up and the kabuki brush in major <3 with it and sometimes I just rub it over my face because it feels that good...lol )

**** skin care is huge and I am a big advocate for starting young! Get a moisturizer with SPF, an anti aging cream or gel or serum ( I got this L'Oreal gold serum for day and night use ) Starting a skin care routine can be so fun and is really important if you want to have fresh looking skin ( In combination of a healthy diet with lots of water ). This is something to invest a little time and money into because flawless fresh skin is beautiful and calls for NO makeup :)! Its the only skin you'll get- take good care of it<3

SAVE: ( the fun additives that can do the job just as well for less $$$ )

  • nail polish ( no matter what polish mine always chips within a day or two ) This particular polish is a pixie brand I got on sale for  $2.50-on nails in picture )
  • eyebrow pencil ( I went with an $8 Maybelline eyebrow pencil with a filler powder - does just as well as the tarte & Nars one I have had previously that cost me $30 a piece although I loved the tarte one with an angled pencil and would totally buy again when I'm splurging on makeup :) )

Save your cashoola on items that only serve one benefit- like eyeliner and eye shadow. I get way more compliments on my eye shadow when I use my mega lids from wet n wild then I do with my Urban Decay Naked Palette ( it may be because I love all the colors in my Nakd2 palette and get ADD with it )

Just a little shopping overview - comment your thoughts on what youchoose to  save on vs. what you always splurge on!

Being a girl is so fun
