8 Ways To Fancy Your Christmas Tree!

1) Garland! I ended up using two different types of garland on our artificial white tree. I used a candy cane dollar tree garland that is more playful and then an off-white snowflake felt more tasteful garland. I’m a fan of contrast and really loved how funt this turned out. I was just playing around and using what I had and the mix match really turned out!

2) Feathers! Now I am envisioning peacock feathers! How fun would that be & go for a gypsy boho vibe! Check your local antique shop for some stellar peacock feathers!

3) Sparkly flower fillers - I’m talking about the gold ones I used here. I am not sure of the right term but these were purchased from Dollar Tree and look really high-end. I love what they add to the tree. The glitter is just fun! Take a look at your Dollar Tree and I think you will be surprised by what you find! A craft store or boutique home store could have a great selection just maybe a higher price point.

4) Christmas cards - now I had mine filled with Christmas cards from loved ones with their beautiful families on them but I didn’t want to share their cards without permission! It’s a nice feel-good addition and a nice spot to place the cards that you receive this holiday season.

5) Beads! Oh, I was so happy I spotted this bag of goodies at my local community aid. It was filled with gold beads and these gold grapes. I wanted the gold beads and love the whimsy vibe they gave our tree that needed something more - it was the beads! I think the grapes could really do something cute too! Say a wine-themed tree?! This bag of goodies was only $4 and there were about 10 grapes, enough beads for this tree, and 5 beautiful ornaments - score!

7) Candy Canes - they are everywhere this season! hang them everywhere and instant holiday cheer is in the air! A cheap way to decorate too!

8) Tinsel - old school baby! It is not everyone’s taste. My grandma always used it and I loved it! My mom despised it lol if you want a fun funky vibe - go for it!
