Homemade Holiday Cheer- 3 creative ways to make the holidays special!

fa la la la la la! 4 days till Christmas Day and I wanted to share with you just three of my favorite DIY homemade ways to create holiday cheer for you & Your family! These are geared toward children but 3# can be for anybody! Let’s get into it!

  1. Homemade Felt Tree! This has become such a cherished piece of our holiday decor. I made this for Leo for his second Christmas, and we put this up every year! This is an easy & cheap project that your little ones will love as they can easily put the felt decorations on and off! You can get super creative with this! Have fun and then reminisce each year when you put it up. How cute if you have younger kids each year add to it with decorations catered to their tastes and interests!

  2. OMG! Santas footprints! So you can totally buy the stickers but do you have paper, scissors, and flour? Do you not mind making a little bit of a mess? Then this oh-so-special easy DIY magic maker idea could be for you! Just grab a family member’s pair of boots ( the largest in the house ) and trace one of each onto a piece of paper. Next, cut each one out and shake some flour around the cutout. bam! Santa tracked snow in!

  3. Last but not least! This last idea to create holiday cheer doesn’t require any crafting but does require your favorite crew and some snacks! Go ahead and make some hot chocolate in your favorite to-go mugs, make some popcorn and grab your favorite snacks! Jump in the car and go see your neighborhood’s Christmas lights and displays! Not the ones that cost $20+ just the residential lights. Maybe you will stumble across the neighborhood house that does the whole light show with music and all! We took my Nan to the one in our neighborhood and she gasped and said I have never seen anything like this! It was so cute and simple and just some old-fashioned family fun that everyone enjoys! Explore a new route and discover that holiday magic!

What are you favorite ways to create cheer this season ?! Share with me below - I would love to hear!
