BOSU BALL!

My new full attention toy. Why I like this and what can you and I do with it?!

The BOSU BALL is great for enhancing your balance and really maximizing workouts. You can stand on the dome or on the opposite flat side. By doing squats on the dome not only are you lifting the booty and building your thighs but your  stabilizing your body which is helping your balance! I personally realized one day not being able to hold a specific yoga pose for as long as I used to be able to that I needed to improve my balance and what do you know! BOSU fell into my lap! Doing jumping lunges or even stationary lunges increase doing them on solid ground.  Using the flat side and holding a plank or doing push ups is really increasing the work you are putting in! There are so many things you can do with this tool! I am eventually going to have to invest in my own because this is a great thing you can do at home when you cant make it to the gym- I plan to make a good morning routine with it that improves my balance and then some quick moves to shred the legs, arms and abdominal's. Down side - the thing is not cheap about $127. I haven't checked out amazon yet so maybe they can be found for cheaper but deff worth the investment. I would say check out the BOSU at your home gym first and make sure it is fun for you- or if you need a trainer to help you incorporate it into your routine, hit me up for trainer assistance!
